Internet of Things (IoT) has also gained a foothold in the medical industry in recent years. The steady increase of innovative products is making medical technology “mobile” and allows discreet integration with daily life. IoMT envisions a universal network of medical devices and people that enables, for example, the seamless exchange of health data. The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is often used to remotely monitor health data and to improve adherence. IoMT helps make health care more patient-centered, more effective, and safer: It can enhance quality of life, enable faster and better-targeted therapies, improve care services and result in more cost-effective structures.
